Grantwriting Tip: Storytelling
Increase your chance of getting funded by standing out in a sea of applicants. This week's #grantwritingtip is to use storytelling to inspire the reviewer and get them excited about your program.
Getting grant funding is extremely competitive; your storytelling must make the choice easy for the reviewer of the application. You still need to provide facts and communicate your need, but your proposal should convey the organization’s mission, vision, and passion through a narrative. Your story should paint a clear picture of your programs, showing their benefit and success in a way that will be felt. Get them to believe in you.
